Miscellaneous:
Please see their website below (under “resources”) for available boarding times. Please note that prime evening hours can often sellout so try to book in advance. I highly encourage experiencing SlotZilla at night under the lights of Fremont Street!
The Zipline is 77 feet high and goes halfway down the Fremont Street Experience (850 feet long) in a seated position.
The Zoomline is 114 feet high and you ride it “superman-style” underneath the entire length of the Fremont Street canopy (1,700 feet long).
SlotZilla provides Go-Pro fitted helmets. You can opt to purchase the video at the end of your experience.
Photos taken by SlotZilla can also be purchased at the end of your experience.
A “travel” bag for any loose personal items is provided and rides along with you during the experience.
No cameras or dangling items allowed during the ride.
Weight & height requirements:
Zipline - 50lbs to 300lbs.
Zoomline - 80lbs to 300lbs.
There is no age requirement as long as the weight requirement is met. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by a rider 16 or older (who will ride on a separate line, not tandem).
No riders above 6’8”.
There’s no shortage of unique experiences to be had in Las Vegas. Want to rip up giant holes with an industrial-sized bulldozer? Head to Las Vegas (Dig This Vegas). Feel like painting a picture with a dolphin? Vegas has you covered (Siegfried & Roy Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat). Or if you’re ever inclined to have a team of ex-Navy Seals lead you into combat against a horde of attacking zombies, you know where to go (Apocalypse Vegas). Yes, if the experience exists, it’s a pretty safe bet you can find it in Las Vegas. Case in point; Slotzilla on Fremont Street.
The concept of ziplining is hardly new. People have been enjoying this exhilarating mode of transportation around the world since the 1970s. But like everything Vegas does, it turned the idea completely on top of its head, re-inventing this particular wheel with an equal dose of audacity and adrenaline (as if it needed any more of the latter). Just as important, it took the activity out of the exotic, and often remote, locales that you typically associate ziplining with and replaced it with an urban environment that feels completely surreal underneath the luminous canopy of the Fremont Street Experience. For the briefest of moments, you become one with the downtown skyline, every bit on display to the throng of bodies below as the glowing marquee of the 4 Queens and the iconic neon cowboy known as “Vic Vegas”.
You actually have two options when it comes to taking on Slotzilla; a typical zipline that you ride in a seated position, and the Zoomlime which flies you through the air “superman-style”. Budgetary limits and Acrophobia (fear of heights) aside, in my humble opinion the Zoomline (at night, if you can swing it) is the only way to experience Slotzilla in its fullest glory. Not only is it longer (1,700 feet versus 850 feet), but it’s taller as well (114 feet versus 77 feet), giving you a true bird’s-eye view of Fremont Street as you soar passed a kaleidoscope of colors like a mighty eagle. If that doesn’t define the Las Vegas experience in a nutshell, I don’t know what will. Oh yeah, that and losing $300 at blackjack if your luck is anything like mine.
