A cornucopia of car-related signage and artifacts, Mendenhall’s Museum of Gasoline Pumps & Petrolina is a veritable shrine and time capsule documenting the history of this country’s automobile culture. The fever dream of the late Jack Mendenhall, the museum is one of the largest of its kind on the west-coast. A speed racer of high repute and member of the Land Speed Hall of Fame, Jack began collecting during his day job as a traveling salesman. This collection would eventually become the museum which is still family operated by his son; Mark and Mark’s wife; Vickie. No matter what your inclination is for car related paraphernalia, I promise that you will be dazzled by the kaleidoscope assembly of colorful mementoes and keepsakes that makes Mendenhall’s Museum of Gasoline Pumps & Petrolina an experience like none other.
