Welcome!

We only live once so why not make the most of it?! Endeavor to discover something new everyday, no matter how big or small. I hope you enjoy my experiences off the beaten path and can use some of the info I’ve provided along the way!

  • Cost:

    • $30 standard tour pkg.

    • Children under 4 are free.

    • Inglewood residents, Military & Senior discounts available upon request at: sofistadiumtours@experiencesofsofistadium.com

  • Time Commitment: approximately 1.5 hours

  • MISC:

    • The tour itself lasts approximately an hour. Afterwards, you’re allowed to roam the on-field activities for another 20-30 minutes. Although, at the time of our visit, no one was monitoring the duration of our stay on the field. So based on our experience, it seems like you can remain on the field as long as you want.

Completed and unveiled in time for the 2020 NFL Season as the new home of the Los Angeles Chargers (it’s still hard not to call them the San Diego Chargers) and the Los Angeles Rams, SoFi Stadium had to wait an entire season to make itself available to the fans of Los Angeles in time for the 2021 season due to Covid restrictions. But I’m happy to report that the stadium was well worth the wait!

In addition to its NFL residents (as well as the NFL Network), this stunning state-of-the-art stadium will also host high-profile events like Super Bowl LVI, The College Football Championship in 2023, and the much anticipated Opening & Closing Ceremonies for the 2028 Summer Olympics. In addition, it will also accommodate a full calendar of concert dates to supplement its sports schedule (both within the stadium and inside a separate 6,000 seat indoor theatre attached to the stadium). With all these big-ticket events lined up, it will most likely recoup its staggering five billion dollar price tag sooner than later!

To show off all its brand-new bells & whistles, SoFi Stadium currently offers tours that will literally dazzle your senses. The tour itself lasts approximately an hour as you traverse the stadium. All the while, obligatory facts and figures will be relayed to you by your guide. For instance:

  • The stadium seats 70,000 but can accommodate up to 100,000

  • The massive 360 degree scoreboard is over 3 stories tall and is larger than the actual field.

  • At 3.1 million square feet, SoFi stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL

  • The stadium will be completely cash free, meaning electronic and credit card purchases only. The stadium will be outfitted with “ATM” machines that will provide loaded & re-usable debit cards to facilitate this.

  • The field actually sits 100 ft below ground level.

  • The stadium’s canopy roof is outfitted with a cutting-edge LED system that will light up the night sky in various designs & patterns.

As amazing as the tour is, let’s not kid ourselves, it’s all about getting onto the field! That’s worth the price of admission alone and SoFi Stadium does not disappoint. You enter the field by running through the player’s tunnel, complete with music and digital monitors hyping your entrance (along with photos of this if you’re willing to pay for it!). It’s a little hokey, but an absolutely fun way to make an entrance. Once through, the field awaits, filled with various activities to participate in. You can try your hand at kicking field goals, running the 40 yard dash, throwing footballs through targets, playing catch with your friends, or just hanging out and taking pictures to your heart’s content. It’s an amazing experience getting that close to the action since it’ll be the closest most of us will ever get. Full disclosure, I’m a Chicago Bears fan till the day I die, but you don’t have to be a Rams or Chargers fan to be in awe of the grandeur of Sofi Stadium!
